Albert Stagliano, Mayor

Stagliano, President
Teresa (Terrie) Stagliano has been a councilwoman since
January 1998 and
is in her second term. She is Council President and serves on the
Parks and the Public Safety committees. She has been at the center of all
the improvements that have been made to the Borough's Parks in recent years
including the basketball and hockey courts, new playground equipment,
rehabilitating the Scout Cabin, and the Summer Concerts.
Mrs. Stagliano originally hails from Newtown Square, Delaware County. She
has been a hair stylist for over 17 years and she and her husband Al own
the Stagliano Barber Shop in the Collegeville Shopping Center.
Mrs. Stagliano, her husband and youngest daughter reside in the
Park Avenue neighborhood. She is a volunteer for Relay for Life,
the American Cancer Society event that honors cancer survivors and
pays tribute to those who have not survived. Her hobbies include
mosaics, golfing, biking on the Perkiomen Trail, and she will never
say no to a great game of Bocci Ball!
Louise Tulio, Vice-President
Louise-Marie Tulio has been a councilwoman since September 2002 and is in
her first term. She currently serves on the Personnel and Public Safety
committees.
Ms. Tulio is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University with a B.A. in
communications (91) and is employed by Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.
Ms. Tulio has been a resident of Collegeville for 27 years and resides in
the Locust Green neighborhood. She is a member of St. Eleanor parish where
she is actively involved with the youth group, altar servers and is an
Eucharistic Minister. She is also a member of the St. Bonaventure
University Alumni Association recruiting perspective students and Bona
Athletic Fund supporter of the SBU baseball team. Ms. Tulio enjoys spending
time with her family and friends, traveling, theater and sporting events.
Arnold Mann
Arnold Mann has been a councilman since January 1992. He currently serves
on the Finance Committee and as chairman of the Streets and Roads
Committee. He is a member of the Planning Commission, the
Collegeville-Trappe Sewer Authority and serves as joint-chair of the
Collegeville-Trappe Public Works Committee. Previously he has served as
Council President and on the Personnel, Business Liaison, and special
committees to negotiate Police and Public Works contracts. He has been
involved for many years with PA DOT in the resolution of Rt. 29 and Main
Street/Perkiomen Bridge traffic problems.
Mr. Mann is a U. S. Navy veteran. He is a graduate of Drexel University
and is retired after a 33-year career in manufacturing management.
Arnold is an active member of Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ.
During his tenure on church council he served as President and Building
Committee Chairman. Arnold and his wife Marty organized a youth group at
Trinity and served as youth ministers for seven years.
Arnold and Marty have been Collegeville residents since November 1968.
They raised four children and currently have ten grandchildren In
addition to visits with the grandchildren, they enjoy traveling,
gardening, bowling, and hosting an annual family picnic each summer.
Rowan Keenan
Rowan's term began in January of 2006. Rowan holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Colby College, a J.D. from Boston College School of Law and an L.L.M. from the Beasley School
of Law at Temple University. Rowan works for Keenan, Ciccitto & Associates on Main Street in Collegeville. Rowan was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of
Pennsylvania in
2004 and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 2005. He is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar
Association and American Bar Association.
Rowan is an active member of the Collegeville Fire Company No. 1 and is also the financial secretary for the organization. Mr. Keenan grew up in Collegeville and plans on
staying in his hometown.
Timothy Mahon
Timothy Mahon has been a Councilman since January 2002 and is in his first term. He serves as Chairman of the Personnel committee and is a member of the Finance and the Parks committees. He also served on a special committee to negotiate the new police contract.
Mr. Mahon is a graduate of St. Joseph's University and is
a Certified
Public Accountant. He is Director of Finance for PMA Re, a
subsidiary
of PMA Capital Corporation, a publicly traded insurance holding
company. He is also currently working towards a degree of Masters
in Taxation.
Mr. Mahon, his wife Michele, and their two children reside in the Collegeville
Crossing neighborhood. Mr. Mahon and his family are parishioners
at St. Eleanor's church, and Mr. Mahon enjoys spending time with
his kids and cocker spaniel Buffy, running on the Perkiomen Trail,
home improvements, and sports.
MaryLynn Gaydos
MaryLynn Gaydos began her first term as a member of Collegeville's
Borough
Council in January 2008. She has been appointed to the Facilities
Committee and the Parks and Recreation Committee. Mrs. Gaydos was a past
member of the Planning Commission. Her term expired in December 2007 but
she has been reappointed for another term. She is on the Open Space
Committee, the Traffic Calming Committee and the Main Street
Beautification Project. Mrs. Gaydos served as Republican Committeewoman
and Municipal Chair from 2000 - 2006.
Mrs. Gaydos is an office manager for a Dental Practice in East Norriton
and has many years of experience in all areas of dentistry.
The Gaydos family has lived in Collegeville since 1992.
Mrs. Gaydos was always involved with her two daughters all through
their
elementary and secondary school years. Whether it was sports, school
plays, fundraisers, or cafeteria mom, she loved it all. Mrs. Gaydos loves
horseback riding, a hard workout at the gym, music, and riding with her
car top down on a great day.
Andrea Baptiste
Andrea Baptiste started her first term as a Collegeville Borough Council
member in January 2008. She is the Chairperson for the Business Liaison
Committee, serves on the Finance Committee, and the Public Safety
Committee.
Ms. Baptiste was selected to serve as a Board Member for the Collegeville
Economic Development Corporation as well as being appointed to the Central
Perkiomen Valley Regional Planning Commission. Presently, she is the
Collegeville Democratic Committee Municipal Chairperson.
Andrea is a graduate of Marietta College, Marietta, Ohio where she earned
a
B.A.
in History and Spanish. Ms. Baptiste has always been avidly interested in
community groups and committees. She was a member of the Marietta College
Student Body Executive Board and Chapter President of the Beta Xi Chapter
of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. For three years, she served on the Norristown
Parks and Recreation Committee.
Ms. Baptiste manages the Construction Department for one of the region's
most prominent real estate development companies, The Goldenberg Group, in
Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. She has been a resident of Collegeville,
Pennsylvania since 1997. Ms. Baptiste enjoys tennis, swimming, visiting
museums, attending the theater, concerts and going to the movies. In
addition to reading, traveling is one of her favorite things to do.
