Officer John Barnshaw

Officer John J. Barnshaw has been with the department since January, 2002. He is a graduate of Widener University with a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Prior to joining the Collegeville Police Department, Officer Barnshaw was a member of the Cheltenham Township Police Department. Officer Barnshaw is a graduate of the Montgomery County Municipal Police Officers Training Academy.

• Member of the Valley Forge Area DUI Enforcement Team
• Member of the Montgomery County Municipal Drug Task Force

Other Interests

• Member of the Perkiomen Township Fire Company since 1993 and appointed to Battalion Chief in 2001
• Plays in the Valley Fire Chief's Softball League
