In Memory of Officer James C. Rupell
1965-2005

An 18-year veteran of the Collegeville Police Department, Officer James C. Rupell lost his battle to cancer on November 21st, 2005.

Officer James C. Rupell has been with the department since September, 1987. He received his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Montgomery County Community College. Officer Rupell is currently working towards his Bachelors degree at Albright College. Officer Rupell is a graduate of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Regional Police Training Academy.

• Member of the Valley Forge Area DUI Enforcement Team
• Certified accident reconstructionist for automobiles, pedestrians, motorcycles and bicycles
• Emergency Vehicle Operations Driving Instructor (EVOC)
• NRA and Pennsylvania State Police certified Firearms Instructor
• Chemical Aerosol Spray Instructor
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
• Department coordinator for the Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Other Intetests

• Holds First degree black belt in Chung Moo Quan Style of Martial Arts
• Currently training a blue tick hound puppy for K-9 search and rescue work
