Collegeville has a viable downtown with a variety of retail and dining options. Further, enhanced pedestrian connectivity could help to entice Perkiomen Trail users and Ursinus College students and faculty walk to businesses on Main Street.
Neighborhood / Office Commercial
Collegeville has two shopping centers located along Rt 29. These centers host a number of businesses, including grocery stores, restaurants, a car parts store, and a variety of small shops that offer various goods and services. These shopping centers abut the Perkiomen Trail, and there is access to the trail at one of the centers.
The office commercial district extends down Main Street to the Perkiomen Bridge and along the Perkiomen Creek. There are a number of businesses in this area as well, notably a car dealership and a gas station.
