Collegeville Borough Council and Administration Offer Condolences Upon the Tragic Death of State Trooper and Fire Chief Branden Sisca

Trappe Fire Chief and State Trooper Branden Sisca suffered a tragic and untimely death in the early hours of March 21 when he and his colleague, Martin Mack, were killed in the line of duty. Troopers Sisca and Mack were helping  a pedestrian walking on I-95 when they were hit by a drunk driver.

Trooper Sisca, aged 29, grew up locally and lived in Trappe Borough.  He leaves behind an expectant wife, Brittany.  Collegeville Borough Council and Administration join with Trappe Borough and the Collegeville and Trappe Fire Companies in mourning the passing of state Trooper Sisca.  We offer our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

In sorrowful times like these, telephone scammers have been soliciting donations for the fallen officers.  Area residents wishing to help Trooper Sisca’s family should only donate through The Montgomery County Hero Fund, which provides support to our area’s First Responders and is helping the family of Trooper/Fire Chief Branden Sisca.
