Jon Doman is the Collegeville Borough Tax Collector. The Tax Collector does not have an office at Borough Hall. However, the Tax Collector does have office hours from time to time. The hours are printed on the tax bill. If you need assistance, please call my office and we can plan to collect your tax payment in person.
2020 and prior tax years: If you need any questions answered for 2020 and prior tax years you will need to reach out to Kelly Taylor. I do not have access to any tax files prior to 2021. New this year:
- There is a red mailbox installed on the wall in the lobby of Borough Hall for tax payments only. You may drop off your tax payments in the red mailbox during Borough hours. Please do not forget to include a copy of your tax bill.
- I have installed a new system for tax collection. One requirement is that a copy of your tax bill must be included with your payment. If your bank or mortgage company has your taxes escrowed, you still need to have a copy of the tax bill sent either by you or the bank or mortgage company that submits payment for your taxes. There is a bar code on the tax bill that provides valuable information when the tax payments are entered into the system. This is for security and verification purposes.
- No Cash Payments will be accepted.

Questions About Your Tax Bills?
If you have questions regarding your tax bills or tax payments, please understand that the staff at Borough Hall does not have access to any tax information. You must contact Jon Doman directly to get a tax duplicate, tax certification, tax receipts or to have any questions answered about tax payments. The Borough staff cannot accept tax payments.
Tax Certifications & Duplicate Bill Fee
Please note that tax certification and duplicate bill requests must be requested through the Tax Collector. Borough Hall staff does not have access to tax records.
The fee for a Tax Certification is $25.00. Tax certification includes County, Borough and School Real Estate. When requesting a Tax Certification, you will also need to enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope. Checks should be made payable to “Jon Doman”.
Fee for Furnishing Information: There shall be a fee of $7.00 per year for furnishing and providing, by mail or otherwise, information pertaining to real estate tax data, where no tax certification is requested, including, but not limited to, tax duplicates, for any single tax parcel within the Borough of Collegeville. When requesting a Duplicate Bill, you will also need to enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope. Checks should be made payable to “Jon Doman”
